I would like my child Baptised. What is the process?

Baptisms are celebrated at Holy Spirit Church Amaroo after 9:30am Mass on the first three Sundays of the month.  To find out more information about this process please click here.

I would like a copy of my Baptismal Certificate. Who should I contact?

Please contact the nearest parish to the area in which you lived or believed your parents had you baptised.  To help with their search, please provide as many specific details as you can (date of birth, family name, approximately how old you were when you were baptised etc.) 

I want to become a Catholic. How do I go about it?

Holy Spirit Parish invites all who would like to become a Catholic as adults to join the Rite of Christian Initiation as an Adult (RCIA) program.  Our parish runs this program around August every year and traditionally the Sacraments are received around Easter time.  Please contact the parish office if you are interested in joining the program.

Want to get married in the Catholic Church. When should I contact the Parish?

We require 6 months notice to begin the preparation process for a Marriage. Please click here to start the process.

I want to be confirmed as an Adult. When does the RCIA program start?

The Rite of Christian Initiation as an Adult (RCIA) program begins around August every year and traditionally the Sacraments are received around Easter time. Please contact the parish office if you are interested in joining the program.
