The school communities of the parish and parishioners welcomed Michael Maguire and Sr Ivy Khoury who spoke about the work of Caritas in Zimbabwe. Michael reminded us all that our effort and contribution to Project Compassion can and does make a real difference to communities. Water is a basic human need and Caritas partners with communities to provide bore water, which in turn allows crops to be grown. The flow on effects are numerous.
