Dear Parents and Carers
If your child is Year 3 or above and has received the Sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation, they are now able to become an Altar Server.
Altar Serving is a ministry where young people assist the Priest at Mass and at other Liturgical ceremonies. Their role enhances the prayerful and orderly celebration of Liturgies and they are an example of active participation to the congregation and especially to other young people.
An introductory Training Session for New Altar Servers will be held at Holy Spirit Church Amaroo on
Saturday 24 October 2020 at 2:00pm.
