Parish Ministries

Holy Spirit Parish offers a wide range of ministries for each person to get connected and grow closer to God. Church is more than a weekend Mass experience. God has equipped each one of us with talents and gifts which in turn we are asked to use these to serve our community. Find out how you can be a blessing to your church and your community.

Join a ministry to really get to know your church family, and to make serving God a bigger part of your everyday life. See below for more information about our ministries.

Information on each ministry is available here

Liturgy and Music

We are all called to share the gifts we have received. Liturgical ministries serve the community as we gather for Mass. If you are interested in serving in any of the following ministries, we would love to hear from you!

Community Building and Outreach

Through some of our parish ministries run by volunteer groups, we create personal connections between the Parish and the wider community. We aim to help our community connect their faith with their daily lives and to see Holy Spirit Parish as a community of people who pray, live and reach out in support for one another.

  • Communion to the Sick and Housebound
  • Care Group
  • St Vincent De Paul
  • Community Garden
  • Social Justice Group

Liturgy Support Ministries

We welcome your gifts and talents to help maintain the church building, garden, grounds and supporting our weekend and special liturgies.

  • Grounds or Building Maintenance
  • Flower Arrangement
  • Sacristan
  • Counting
  • Sewing and Mending
  • Preparing the Liturgical Space

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in an area of Parish Ministry. Please reflect on the ways you are called to share your gifts to help our community grow. Download our Ministry Directory to find out more or Contact Theivani at the Parish Office if you would like to discuss further.
